Care

Your bag is made from full-grain vegetable-tanned leather. It is alive in the way good leather should be. Treated kindly, it will age beautifully and outlast almost everything else you own.

Everyday

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and let the leather breathe. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and heat, which can dry the hide.

Patina

Vegetable-tanned leather darkens and softens with handling. Marks and a deepening tone are not flaws. They are the record of a life with the bag.

If it gets wet

Pat dry with a soft cloth and let it dry naturally, away from direct heat. Do not use a hairdryer or radiator.

Conditioning

Once or twice a year, work a small amount of natural leather balm into the hide with a soft cloth. Test on a hidden area first.

Storage

Store in the dust bag, loosely filled to hold its shape, somewhere cool and dry.
