Coming soon · Numbered by hand
Leather that
outlives the trend.
The hide
Full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, selected one hide at a time. Only the cleanest cuts reach the bench — the rest never carry the name.
The cut
Every panel is cut by hand against a steel rule. No dies, no presses. The knife follows the grain, and the grain decides the bag.
The saddle stitch
Two needles, one thread, locked at every hole. A saddle stitch cannot unravel — it is the reason these bags are passed down, not replaced.
The burnish
Edges are burnished by hand with beeswax and heat until they shine like glass. It takes longer. It lasts longer.
The number
Every piece is numbered by hand before it leaves. No two share a number, and when the run is complete, the collection closes forever.
The house
We do not make many.
We make them properly.
Ormsby London makes leather goods the slow way: one hide, one knife, one bench. Every piece is saddle-stitched by hand in full-grain vegetable-tanned leather and numbered before it leaves. The leather darkens and softens with wear — it does not wear out, it wears in.
